CMA Awards 2014 nominees announced

CMA Awards 2014 nominees announced..Darius Rucker announced the nominations for the 48th CMA Awards live from Times Square in New York City on Wed. (Sept. 3), with the help of the harmonious quintet Little Big Town. Taking to Good Morning America, the country superstars unveiled the full list of nominees in two rounds. Rucker also debuted his brand new single “Homegrown Honey,” lifted from his forthcoming studio LP.


Darius Rucker and Little Big Town have announced five categories for this year's awards from the Country Music Association on ABC's Good Morning America. The show just revealed the nominees in those categories for its East Coast viewers; audiences in other time zones will see the nominees at 8:30 local time.
The remaining seven categories will be announced after the show at New York's Best Buy Theater.

The 48th Annual CMA Awards will air live from Nashville's Bridgestone Arena on Nov. 5 (ABC, 8 p.m. ET). Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood will host the show for the seventh year.
